Message from the National Alumnae President

Welcome! I am truly honored and humbled to have been appointed as your National Alumnae President. As your President, I will make it my duty to support, obey and defend our constitution at all times. I am a proud lifetime sister with a 12 year history of dedication, enrichment and empowerment for our sisters and upliftment of our organization.

I have held several leadership positions within the sorority such as Vice President, Secretary, and Community Chair, in the chapter level; Area Orientation Supervisor for NJNA1, and most recently, President of Lambda Beta NJ Alumnae Chapter. As an active leader in my local chapter, I know the difficulties that come along with being part of a board as well as the rewards. I am always ready to serve our organization in whatever capacity I can and that is why I chose to become a lifetime member.

As a mother and full time professional, I understand the difficulties in balancing our families, careers, and the sorority. At times, this is a challenge that many sisters can’t overcome. This is why I chose to run last year as President of the Alumnae Chapter in NJ.

As National Alumnae President, I hope to bring some of my leadership experiences and history of accomplishment to the Alumnae and Graduate Chapters all over the country. It is time for us, Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., to be recognized nationally for all our great accomplishments in working with the community, as well as, the sisterhood.
