Marian Enriquez
Alumnae Association Chair

Marian Enriquez joined our sisterhood in Spring 2000 as a Founding Sister of Beta Pi Chapter at Eastern Michigan University where she served as the first Chapter President. She then served as Area Orientation Supervisor for Michigan Area One (MIA1) and helped recruit, retain and bring new sisters into MI, IL and WI. The National Board of Directors recognized her efforts by awarding her AOS of the Year during our National Banquet.

After graduating with a B.S. in Theatre Arts, Marian moved back to Washington, D.C. where she served as Area Supervisor for Maryland Area One (MDA1) and worked closely with sisters of MD, VA and TN to bring new energy into the area. In 2004, she was elected National Director of Expansion where she created the National Recruitment Committee (NRC). Marian has served as Co-Chair of the Alumnae Association and is now serving her second term as Chair. Marian continues to be a part of the NRC and was also a member of the 2007 & 2008 National Convention Committee. She is also active through Lambda Delta Alumnae Chapter.

Professionally, Marian has valuable experience in fundraising and working in the non-profit sector. She is currently the Director of Programs and Initiatives at the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility and is finishing her last year of graduate school at The George Washington University's School of Business.


Leimer Tejeda

Leimer is a recent graduate from Upsilon chapter at the University of Maryland, College Park. She became a sister is Spring 2006 and has served as Chapter Vice-President, Academic Chair and Fundraising Chair. Leimer graduated with a dual degree; a B.S. in International Business and a B.A. in Spanish Literature. Additionally, she participated in four study abroad programs and a service program in Ghana.

Currently, she is an Operations Analyst at Goldman Sachs in their Chicago office. Leimer is also working on founding a non-profit organization whose end mission will be to introduce high school seniors in the Dominican Republic to capital markets and the world of finance.


Claudia L. Barrera

Claudia is an alumna sister from Epsilon Chapter at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, NJ. She became a member of LTA in Spring 1993. As an undergraduate, Claudia served as Chapter Vice President, Chapter Treasurer and Assistant Chapter Orientation Advisor. Claudia has also held various National and Regional positions within the sorority such as National Fundraising Chair, National Director of Administration, NJCA2 Area Supervisor and Lambda Beta Alumnae Chapter Community Chair.

Claudia has been very active with the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) where she served as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Vice-Chair and is currently part of the Membership Committee. Claudia currently serves as the Alumnae Association Secretary, is a member of Lambda Beta NJ Alumnae Chapter and is the sorority's National Representative to NALFO.

Claudia received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Spanish from Douglass College at Rutgers University. She currently works for Lehman Brothers in New York City and is part of the Membership and Women of ALPFA Committees for the NY Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance & Accounting (ALPFA).


Analiz Velazquez

Analiz Velazquez is an alumna sister from Chi Chapter at the University of Florida. She joined the sisterhood in Spring 2003. Analiz has served in various undergraduate positions in Chi Chapter such as Chapter President, Treasurer, Community Service Chair and Multicultural Greek Council delegate. She received various awards and recognition for her work and leadership such as Chi Chapter Neophyte of the Year, University of Florida Greek Woman of the Year and NALFO's Undergraduate Campus Leadership Excellence Award.

Analiz graduated from the University of Florida in May 2006 with a Bachelor's in Political Science and Sociology. She is currently in her third year of law school at New York Law School in Lower Manhattan and works as a law clerk at an immigration law firm in New York City. Analiz also serves as Treasurer of the Immigration Law Student Association at New York Law School. Upon graduation, she plans to practice immigration law.
