Chapters

One of the goals of Lambda Theta Alpha is to continually increase the number of active Alumnae. There are many different avenues our Alumnae follow to stay active within the organization after graduation. Many of them become active on a local level via Alumnae and Graduate Chapters while others hold executive board positions on an area and national level.

The alumnae and graduate chapters of Lambda Theta Alpha support an environment that is welcoming to all that entails of a universal woman: family, community, culture, friends and career. The meeting environment is one that is comfortable for an alumna's schedule. Alumnae and graduate chapters do not operate on a semester basis, but instead operate on an annual basis. Being an alumnae or graduate chapter officer includes some paperwork processing, but these duties are kept to a minimum. Sisters who become active via an alumnae chapter do not take on new chapter letters when they join an alumnae chapter, they keep their undergraduate chapter letters. Alumnae chapters are classified by the Greek alphabet beginning with Lambda (i.e. Lambda Alpha).
