Chapter History

Alpha Gamma Graduate Chapter (TX) was established on January 12, 2000 by: Tammy Ibarra, Venuz Gonzalez and Olga Nelli Alvarez. Unfortunately for reasons beyond their control, these sisters were not able to continue working under Alpha Gamma Graduate Chapter. Yet, they were nevertheless loyal to their sisterhood and commitments in both area and national boards and as a support system for undergraduate chapters.

The renaissance of Alpha Gamma Graduate Chapter would have to wait for another seven years, when after years of dedication, service, planning, endless community and educational projects - four ladies came together to form Line Two of the Astonishingly Glamorous Alpha Gamma Graduate Chapter, "Venga lo que sea, la Fortaleza se queda!"

These ladies persevered throughout the obstacles that were thrust before them and were able to effectively manage themselves as a single entity and as professionals, friends, wives, and students of higher education. These women personified what it is to have inner strength and dreams and above all the focus on a goal which they all held dear in their hearts - Sisterhood.
